Prerequisite: ANTH 1101 or 2151 and permission of the instructor. Practical experience in archaeological techniques. Students will participate in field research on an historic or prehistoric archeological site. Research may include field reconnaissance, excavation, mapping, systematic description and analysis of cultural material, and/or other techniques appropriate to the site and research problem. May be repeated for credit as projects vary. Up to six hours of credit may be applied toward the anthropology major. (Honors/Pass/No credit) (Summer)
