Introduces: 1) qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the impact of environmental forces on thermal and luminous comfort, energy performance, and regional sustainability; 2) the interplay between climatic events, building use, and the variables that influence building systems technology; and 3) building envelope performance, and passive and mechanical systems for heating, cooling, illuminating, and ventilating.
