This course provides a comprehensive and systematic, critical examination of sexual exploitation in the United States. Topics include: historical and legal perspectives; theories of causation; empirical evidence and practical policy implications in the areas of rape, child sexual abuse, and incest; domestic violence; pornography; sexual harassment, nuisance and dangerous obsessions; and serial killing. A reliance on guest speakers at the local, state, national and international levels greatly diversify this course (Yearly)
