Prerequisite: ETEE 1223. Corequisite: ETEE 2113. This course introduces computer-aided drafting (CAD) with an emphasis on application in the electronics field. Topics include electronics industry standards (symbols, schematic diagrams, layouts); drawing electronic circuit diagrams; electronic drafting practices and components such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs. Topics include editing, screen capturing, and cutting/pasting into reports.
