This course discusses how lean methodology can eliminate waste and increase the speed in manufacturing while reducing cycle times. (Spring) SEGR 4l4l. Engineering Experimental Design. (3) Prerequisite: STAT 3128. Focuses on how to achieve high-quality/low-cost systems based on Taguchi methods, design of experiments methods, and statistical analysis of data. Also includes introduction to response surface methods. (Spring)
