Prerequisite: SEGR 3132. Focuses on the fundamentals of how manufacturing operations work, and talk about the latest techniques to make your manufacturing organization successful. This course discusses how lean methodology can eliminate waste and increase the speed in manufacturing while reducing cycle times. (Spring) SEGR 4l4l. Engineering Experimental Design. (3) Prerequisite: STAT 3128. Focuses on how to achieve high-quality/low-cost systems based on Taguchi methods, design of experiments methods, and statistical analysis of data. Also includes introduction to response surface methods. (Spring)
