Prerequisites: Completion of TRAN 3401 or TRAN 4402-S, and a Spanish 3000-level course or equivalent, each with a grade of C or better, or permission of the department. Further work in restructuring texts, editing, troubleshooting, and translation of a variety of literary and cultural text types (e.g., fiction, poetry, drama, essay, film). Continues with history and theory of translation. Conducted in English and Spanish. May be taken concurrently with TRAN 4404-S and may also count as course work for the Spanish major. (Spring)
