Fundamentals of torque converters, automatic transmissions, automatic transaxles and final drives. Operation, components, diagnosis, repair, and rebuilding procedures (Toyota 262). Advanced electrical systems, operation, construction, parts identification, diagnosis, repair procedures of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, cruise control, air conditioning and body control computers, and shop safety. Students must have a current, valid driver s license. Prerequisite: Grade "C" or betterin AUTO 210 or consent of instructional unit. [GE]
