Description:
Examination of current research on the needs of students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and emotional/behavioral disorders is the content of this course. Methods for including these students in the regular classroom with lesson plans identifying modifications to the existing curriculum are described. A beginning survey of behavior management techniques will be addressed. Prerequisite: EDUCU 350 and preferably EDUCU 351.
