It will include practical exercises in elementary translation and the comparative study of English and French, highlighting cultural and linguistic differences, especially in contemporary written and spoken French. Includes frequent oral and written reports, translations, and explications de texte. ( If taken as Writing Intensive, prerequisites are ENGU 101/105 and ILA.)
