This course examines the use and application of a variety of technologies to business related problems. Using business-oriented case studies, students learn about technology and organizational components of an information system and examine the type of technology required for data and knowledge management. Students examine information security and the Internet, and the technologies involved in electronic commerce, Intranets, Extranets, organization information systems, and enterprise-wide information systems.
