An intermediate lab course coveringthe equipment, techniques, and hardware of the profession necessary to measure horizontal and vertical angles and distances used in traversing according to prevailing and applicable professional standards: e.g. electronic distance measuring equipment, total stations, theodolites, compasses, remote sensing equipment, global positioning receivers, data collectors and hand- held programmable calculators.
