Students will explore the human-horse relationship and equine behavior through the study of evolution, sensory physiology, learning processes of the hose, and different training techniques. The goal of this course is to provide students with the principles necessary to develop a relationship between themselves and the horse and create a foundation for further exploration into the complex behaviors of the horse. 3 hours Lecture and Demonstration/Discussion - 3 credits.
