This course is designed to familiarize the student with the basic principles and techniques of digital photography. Students will learn to use all of the features of a standard digital camera. Some of the areas of focus will be depth of field, lighting techniques, motion portraiture, composition, location analysis, and digital image processing. Additionally, students will develop skills in digital photo editing and production for projects with specific themes and applications. Prerequisite: English I and II or Advanced English I and II. 3 hours - lecture and laboratory - 3 credits.
