Prerequisite: Senior standing. Integration of principles, theories, and methods learned throughout the art history major. Students creatively analyze, synthesize, and evaluate learned knowledge in a research project with a focus that changes yearly. The course culminates in a research paper and art exhibition (directed by one faculty), working with original art and artifacts, presented in a venue on the UNCW campus, and concluding in an oral defense presentation.
