Prerequisite: BIO 201, 202 and CHM 212. A survey of the biochemistry, physiology and anatomy of the endocrine system of vertebrates and selected invertebrates. Steroid, peptide, and terpenoid hormones that control reproduction, growth and other parameters will be discussed. Three lecture hours each week.
