Lecture willdiscuss theory, applications, and operation of various analytical instruments with an emphasis on protein purifi cation in both a Research and Development laboratory and a biomanufacturing facility. Laboratory exercises will focus on quantitative and qualitative analyses by chromatography, centrifugation, spechtrophotometry, and electrophoresis.
