One in a series of courses in basicpreparation for a new fi refi ghter. Should be taken in conjunction with Firefi ghter Certifi cation I, II, IV, V, VI, and VII to satisfy the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) curriculum for Basic Structural Fire Suppression, Course #100. General principles of fi re apparatus, pump operations, fi re streams, and public relations as they relate to fundamental development of basic fi refi ghter skills.
