Instruction inconceptualizing and producing utilitarian items in non-ferrous metals. Various handworking principles will be explored through the techniques of raising, chasing, repousse, piercing and planishing in order to create objects from fl at sheet. Additional techniques in casting, brazing, soldering, tinning, patinizing, and polishing. Skills developed can be applied to decorative objects as well as functional and wearable art.
