Should be taken in conjunction with Firefi ghter Certifi cation II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII to satisfy the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) curriculum for Basic Structural Fire Suppression, Course #100. An introduction to fi refi ghter safety and development. Topics include Texas Commission on Fire Protection rules and regulations, fi refi ghter safety, fi re science, personal protective equipment, self contained breathing apparatus, and fi re reports and records.
