A study of the relationship amongthe child, family, community and schools, including parent education and involvement, family and community lifestyles, child abuse, and current family life issues. This course is for Child Development majors. Offered in Fall. 16 hours of fi eld experiences required. Insurance Fee: $3.50 Prerequisites: DEVR 0303 and DEVW 0403 or satisfactory score on appropriate placement test. Student must be eligible for fi eld experiences by passing a criminal background check through the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and meet the Child Development Department's fi eld experiences/lab policies.
