A specialized, intensive workplaceexperience designed to strengthen a student's job skills by providing an opportunity to use acquired skills and techniques with young children. An individualized learning plan will be developed by the placement site, college and student. Ten hours per week of regularly scheduled lab experience is required; fi ve hours of this must be completed at the ACC Lab School. Offered in Spring. Insurance Fee: $13.50 Prerequisites: CDEC 1166, CDA credit or department approval. Student must be eligible for fi eld experiences by passing a criminal background check through the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and meet the Child Development Department's policies for fi eld experiences.
