An introduction to how ideas and meaning can be transmitted through 3-dimensional forms and materials, and to the basic processes involved in the creation of the sculptures that convey those concepts. Materials include clay, wood, metal, and mixed media; techniques include modeling, carving and fabrication (basic carpentry and welding).
