An examination of the relative contributions of nature and nurture on children's behavioral, cognitive, and perceptual development from the prenatal period through adolescence. Topics include the development of language, concepts, intelligence, socialization, motor abilities, and emotional understanding, with discussion informed by current and classic primary reading.
