This course explores the phenomenon of globalism in the 21st century as the world's "global village" is being forged by the inexorable forces of instantaneous communication, international transportation and trans-national corporations. Students will learn how these forces are influencing various aspects of life, from religion to politics to family dynamics, and will be encouraged to consider Christian responses to these forces. Society Group C core option.
