Introductorycourse designed for the student with little or no previous training. Primary emphasis on jazz dance technique; placement and alignment of the body, footwork, stretches, musicality and other preparatory work necessary for establishment of a basic technical foundation. Different styles of jazz dance such as musical theatre, show style, Broadway, funky jazz, television and movie styles are explored.
