The second of theprogressive clinical courses that utilize the process of care model of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. In this competency-based clinical course students provide comprehensive dental hygiene care for medically compromised and moderately complex adult patient treatment cases. A health-related work-based learning experiencethat enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional.
