Studyof the principles and concepts of community public health and dental health education with an emphasis on community assessment, educational planning, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, this course includes a study of basic research principles to facilitate the reading and reviewing of professional, scientifi c, and trade literature in order to counsel clients and groups accordingly. The laboratory emphasizes methods and materials used in teaching dental health education in various community settings and extern site presentations.
