A survey course introducing the laws that impact the employee-employer relationship. The student will analyze how the law affects areas such as hiring, compensation and safety as well as the laws governing discrimination. A Pennsylvania application will be included where appropriate. The student will be evaluated on the basis of examinations, case analysis, legal research and Internet use. Prerequisite: BUS 301.
