CV 200 - Cardiac Pathophysiology

Students will learn the mechanisms, clinical recognition and detection, medical and surgical treatment of acquired and congenital cardiovascular disorders. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification will be made available at an off-campus site. (AHA certification fee is required.) 6 hours lecture per week for 5 weeks. Prerequisite: admission into the second year of the program. Corequisite: either CV 220 or CV 230.
