This course is designed for the health-care practitioner who desires to learn ECG interpretation and reading principles. Topics will include electrophysiology; basic interpretation of dysrhythmias and conduction disturbances; principles of alternative electrocardiographic recording devices such as Holter monitoring, signal averaging and pacemaker therapy. 6 hours lecture per week for 8 weeks. Prerequisites: BIO 107, 108; AS in CVT; professional registry.
