An introduction to computer programming and algorithm development, with specific focus on mathematical applications. Students will create programs to solve computationally difficult problems and to analyze mathematical models of real-world phenomena through simulation. All projects and assignments will require the use of a computer. Prerequisite: MTH 245 or permission of instructor.
