A course in the mathematics of continuous change. Topics include both differentiation and integration, with an emphasis on applications. A TI 89 symbolic graphing calculator is required for in-class work, assignments and tests. Some assignments will require computer use. 4 lecture hours and 1 computer lab/recitation hour per week. Prerequisites: Four years of high school mathematics including trigonometry and Gwynedd Mercy University Mathematics Assessment Test, Level 5.
