This course is designed for Deaf students and taught in American Sign Language. Students develop American Sign Language grammar skills in order to build their fi rst language foundation in ASL, a fully accessible visual language. This course will focus on ASL grammatical structures, varying registers in ASL, public speaking and video publishing. This course is not for college-level credit. Repeatable for up to six credit hours. Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or better in ESOL0320 or placement in the course by the ESOL assessment. Corequisites: It is recommended, but not required, that this course be taken concurrently with ESOL 0323. Course Type: D
