Thiscourse practices the ways in which spoken English differs from written with emphasis on the strategies English speakers use to make their message very clear for listeners. Time is spent learning how diffi cult English sounds are produced, and how native speakers produce the characteristic rhythm and intonation patterns of the language. This course is not for college-level credit. Repeatable to for up to 6 hours of credit. Prerequisites: Students need to have been placed in ESOL 0384. Course Type: D
