Examines methods of job analysis, writing job descriptions, determining pay structures, and conducting salary surveys. Examines legal and voluntary benefit plans including Social Security, pension, health, and the Family Medical Leave Act. Provides an overview of issues relating to compensation and benefits. Prerequisites: HRM 102 and IT 105. Fall , 3 hours lecture and discussion, 3 credits.
