Explores the principles and techniques of sound assessment strategies. Focuses on the process of assessment, use and interpretation of standardized tests, alternative assessments, including assessment portfolios and norm-referenced and criterion-referenced assessments. Fieldwork required and clearances are necessary. Prerequisite: PSYC 225. Fall and Spring, 3 hours lecture and discussion + field assignments, 3 credits.
