Supervised, seven-week student teaching experience at the secondary level under the guidance of a cooperating teacher and a college supervisor. Included in the experience is the design and implementation of an integrated, thematic unit and the opportunity to use teacher feedback, video review, reflection, and self-evaluation as tools to improve teaching. Fieldwork required and clearances are necessary. Requires faculty consent. (Open to certification candidates only.) Fall and Spring, 6 credits.
