Examines theories related to community and civic responsibility, leadership, and social issues. Students will develop an understanding of their own moral and civic duties as individuals and leaders within their communities. Emphasizes the importance of civic responsibility in solving social problems and leading change. Students will develop a personal philosophy for civic responsibility and demonstrate their commitment to community involvement. Fall, 3 hours lecture, discussion and projects, 3 credits.
