Introduces the student to social science research. Examines the connection between collecting and examining data as well as theory and hypothesis formation. Emphasizes quantitative and qualitative methodologies of survey research, sampling, interviewing, focus groups, and case studies. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and MATH 205.
