Focuses on the classroom learning environment that effectively addresses the diverse learning needs of students in regular classroom settings and considers characteristics of students with special needs and the modifications in teaching methods necessary to meet their needs. Addresses classroom management techniques for academic, social, emotional, and cognitive differences. Fieldwork required and clearances are necessary. Prerequisite: PSYC 225. Spring, 3 hours lecture and discussion + field assignments, 3 credits.
