Examines the history of the Internet and the World Wide Web, technologies for e-commerce, business strategies for Internet marketing and advertising business opportunities in a global market, legal issues, and the role of e-commerce in our economy and society. Case studies and business examples complement conceptual coverage to provide a real-world context. Prerequisites: IT 120 and IT 125. Fall, $40 fee, 3 hours discussion, demonstration, and hands-on assignments, 3 credits.
