Introduces basic principles and applied aspects of surface and ground water hydrology. Emphasis is on developing an understanding of watershed processes. Offers both conceptual and quantitative descriptions of the hydrologic cycle. A weekly three-hour laboratory introduces students to the techniques of applied hydrology. Prerequisites: MATH 113, MATH 205, PHSC 201, and CHEM 105. Spring, $100 fee, 3 hours lecture, 3-hour laboratory, 4 credits.
