A survey of the basic principles and fundamental laws and regulations that are part of what is commonly known as environmental law and natural resource law. It is intended to introduce environmental resource management professionals and other interested students to the environmental laws that are being implemented and enforced at the international, national, and state level. Lectures include special emphasis on environmental law and policy in Pennsylvania. Prerequisite: ENVT 225 is recommended. Spring, 3 hours lecture and discussion, 3 credits.
