Tests are often used to predict behavior, but what can they really tell us From early attempts like phrenology to more current predictive and diagnostic methods such as personality measures (e.g., the Rorschach inkblot test), cognitive ability tests, SATs, and employee selection tests, assessment has been a controversial subject.
