The course focuses on anthropological methods, how "facts" are established, methodology and technique. Techniques include: participant obervation, interview, questionnaire construction, census and genealogy collection, photography and video. Original research is done in preparation for further study. Required for A&S majors and recomended to be taken the junior year.[W] Prerequisite: A&S 102 or 103, or permission of instructor Bauer
