This sequence is for beginners, covering the fundametals of spoken and written language through the development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Class/laboratory. Prerequisite: Novices only. Students having had two or more years of high-school Spanish are ineligible to take Spanish 101. These students are encoraged to enroll either in Spanish 111 (fall semester) or, if they find the intermediate sequence too challenging, in Spanish 103 (spring semester only). Staff
