Earth's climate has changed dramatically over its history, moving between completely ice-free intervals to periods of global glaciations. How and why did these major climatic changes occur What can history teach about the future of the climate This course identifies the major components of the climate system and explores factors and processes that influence the system over a variety of timescales.
