This course provides students of all majors with an introduction to the world of French culture, particularly with respect to how its role is perceived by the global marketplace. The course examines the economic peculiarities of French culture, such as public financial aid to cinema, books, and TV programs with a critical examiniation of their advantages/disadvantages with respect to the consequence for French business and French culture.
