The emphasis in this course is on the principles underlying psychological testing. These princples are applied to tests in all content areas in psychology (e.g., clinical, educational, neurological, industrial). Topics include the history of psychological tests, technical and methodological concerns such as reliability and validity, and legal, social, and ethical issues.
