Analysis and discussion of television programming from the standpoint of its potential effects on audience perceptions, public opinion, social issues and values, individual learning, and behavior. Programming viewed both inside and outside the classroom includes news programs, news magazines, talk shows, sitcoms, dramas, cartoons, soap operas, commercials, and infomercials.
